You’ve spent so long trying to heal,
to find answers
and to uncover that one thing causing you to feel unwell.
Yet you’re still struggling with persistent unexplained symptoms and have become consumed by trying to work out what’s wrong and how to make it stop.
What if there was another way to meet what you are experiencing?
When trying to find answers becomes a full time job
Living with persistent symptoms can be exhausting in ways that are difficult to explain to someone who hasn't experienced it.
You may have spent countless hours researching, attending appointments, trying different treatments and looking for something that will finally help you understand what's happening.
And when the symptoms continue, it can be difficult not to feel frustrated, disheartened or consumed by the search for answers.
Perhaps you find yourself constantly monitoring how you feel, wondering what might make things worse, or putting parts of your life on hold because you don't know how you'll feel from one day to the next.
You might recognise yourself here…
You're living with persistent physical symptoms and are still searching for answers.
You've invested considerable time and energy in trying to understand or improve your health.
You notice how much of your attention and daily life is taken up by your symptoms.
You want to explore a different way of responding to what you're experiencing, without being told to ignore it or simply think positively.
You're open to exploring your relationship with your body, your responses and your everyday experience.
What if you didn't have to spend all your energy fighting what you're feeling?
When symptoms persist, it's natural to want to understand them, change them and find relief. Seeking medical advice and appropriate treatment remains important.
But the experience of living with ongoing symptoms can become a struggle in its own right, one that touches how you think, how you feel, what you do and how you experience everyday life.
My work invites you to explore a different relationship with your symptoms. Rather than making their disappearance the only measure of progress, you can begin learning to notice your responses, meet your experience with greater awareness and explore what it means to relate to yourself with less resistance.
This isn't about pretending symptoms aren't there, giving up on finding answers or forcing yourself to accept something you're struggling with.
It's about discovering another way of being with what you're experiencing.
A different way of relating to your experience
Establishing safety
Learning how to recognise signs of safety in your felt experience, so that your baseline shifts out of survival. This is fundamental for a nervous system that has been wired to perceive ordinary bodily sensations as dangeorus.
My work follows a simple 3-step approach, whether working in a 1:1 coaching setting or through my guided programme. Together we establish safety, cultivate awareness, meet your experience, expand your capacity and build self-trust so that you can start to live your life again to the fullest and move out of symptom management.
Meeting your experience
Exploring how to notice your experience with greater awareness and without automatically moving into resistance, urgency or self-judgement. This is not about liking your symptoms or denying how difficult they can be.
Building self-trust
Recognising how to make choices that truly contribute to healing, as opposed to keeping you stuck in a fear cycle, even when symptoms are present. Learning to trust in the process, trust in yourself and allowing more of life
Beyond Your Symptoms is a programme designed for those who have spent too long searching for answers and feel ready to explore a different relationship with their body & mind
You don't need to have everything figured out. You simply need to be curious about another way of approaching your experience.
